Throughout the NCTE's annual convention on November 20-23, there will be multipule events that NeWP will be a part of!
Thursday, November 20th:
- 1:00 - 2:15 PM: Rachel Jank will be presenting on "Fantasy, Play and Horror in the Secondary Classroom: Dreaming of Fun ELA"
Friday, November 21st:
- 2 - 2:30 PM, NeWP director, Rachael Shah, will be running a panel on "The Un-Five-Paragraph Essay: Teaching Structure without Formula, Argument without Certainty."
Saturday, November 22nd:
- 1:15 - 2:30 PM: NeWP members will be presenting a panel on "Dreaming Dewey-Style: How One Writing Project Site Works to Move beyond the Confines of the Classroom."
- 4:15 - 5:30: Jillian Harpster will be presenting: "Teaching English Boldly: Inquiry, Advocacy, and Transformation through English Methods Courses"
- 4:15 - 5:30: Avery Clauson will be presenting: "Dungeons & Desktops: Using Tabletop Role Playing Games to Foster Student Engagement"
- 5:30 - 6:30, there will be a screening and discussion of the American Creed documentary, in which NeWP will be a part.

- Saturday, 11/22: NWP Site Development Session, 2:45-5:30 pm
- Sunday, 11/23: National Writing Project Brunch (A separate ticket is required and can be purchased before or after registration for NCTE).
